GOP to Block Democrats’ Bid to Suspend SALT Cap in Stimulus Bill

The provision in the House coronavirus relief package to roll back the cap on state and local taxes, or SALT, deductions is a nonstarter in the Senate, a spokesman for Senate Finance Cmte Chair Chuck Grassley says in a tweet.
