GOP to Take Surgical Approach to Energy Tax Credits Rollback

A full repeal of the Democrats’ 2022 tax-and-climate law is unlikely even as former President Donald Trump heads back to office with a Republican-led Senate.

GOP lawmakers have said the so-called Inflation Reduction Act is an early target to raise cash for extension of the 2017 GOP tax overhaul, which has many provisions expiring at the end of next year.
