Government Seeks Levy Against Florida Couple Who Owe $3 Million

Seizing a Boca Raton, Fla., property will help the federal government recoup tax penalties that top $3 million against a couple’s businesses, the IRS said Friday.

The couple, Christopher Walsh and Karen Corcoran Walsh, “have a history of failing to pay ‘trust fund’ taxes withheld from the wages of employees” of the three businesses they owned and operated, the IRS said in a complaint at the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

They are both defendants for their business Inspirations for Youth and Families LLC, and only Christopher Walsh is the defendant for Cove Center for Recovery ...
