Green Banks Tell Court They Acted Ethically With Climate Grants

Climate banks whose federal grants are being targeted by the Trump administration filed documents seeking to prove their credibility before a judge weighing their case.

The documents are meant to persuade the US District Court for the District of Columbia to permanently restore a $5 billion grant to the Coalition for Green Capital, nearly $7 billion grant to Climate United Fund, and $2 billion Power Forward Communities got during the Biden administration. The Trump administration is trying to revoke those and other grants, saying they were riddled with misconduct, conflicts of interest, and potential fraud.
