Hewlett Packard to Fight New IRS Transfer Pricing Adjustment

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. is gearing up to fight a new transfer pricing adjustment proposed by the IRS, according to the company’s quarterly report Tuesday.

The IRS issued the company notices of proposed adjustment for tax years 2020-23 during the first quarter of 2026, the filing said.

“The IRS is seeking to materially increase taxable income across the three fiscal years,” HP said, but the company didn’t disclose the amount in question or what the disputes were about. Transfer pricing pertains to valuation of intracompany transactions.
