HILL TAX BRIEF: Senate Has a Week to Keep Tax Package’s Momentum

The Senate and House return to Washington this week to deal with the aftermath of what was a very busy week in tax world.

After over 350 House lawmakers voted to pass the bipartisan legislation and send it across the Capitol, lawmakers in the Senate said they were in discussions on how their chamber may take up the bill. The House still has a few grains of unfinished tax business to attend to though, with a state and local tax deduction bill in play.
