HILL TAX BRIEFING: Infrastructure Week Underway in Senate

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) is hoping to quickly pass a bipartisan infrastructure bill this week, but Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) cautioned that Republicans are readying numerous amendments.

“Just as infrastructure itself is not a luxury but a necessity, the same goes for the Senate having a robust and bipartisan amendment process on legislation of this magnitude,” McConnell said Monday on the Senate floor.
