The House is shifting its focus to police reform as protests continue across the nation and the Senate next week is set to tackle a public lands bill, but discussion continues about the shape of the next coronavirus relief package.

President Donald Trump’s administration expects to spend as much as $1 trillion in the next package to revive the economy. More than 40 million people have lost their jobs since the pandemic began, adding pressure to negotiations.
