Telecommunications companies and consulting firms have topped the list of recipients for contracts worth millions of dollars to help the Treasury Department bolster its scarce resources during the pandemic.
Treasury shelled out most of its $325.7 million of contract spending related to the coronavirus to AT&T Inc., Verizon Communications Inc., and firms including Deloitte, Accenture Plc, and Booz Allen Hamilton Holding Corp., according to an analysis of Bloomberg Government data.
