House Ways and Means Republicans released their “tax team” lineups Wednesday as part of a ramp-up to negotiations over the 2025 tax cliff.
The 10 groups will cover topics ranging from manufacturing to rural America to global competitiveness, according to an announcement from Ways and Means Chair Jason Smith (R-Mo.) and tax subcommittee Chair Mike Kelly (R-Pa.). The GOP teams are among the first concrete steps from either tax committee to prepare for the expiration of the 2017 tax law.
