HSBC Says Singapore to Raise GST Incrementally Over 2023-2024

Singapore will likely split a planned two-percentage point increase in Goods and Services Tax between 2023 and 2024, given lingering Covid-19 risks and a need to support economic recovery, economists from HSBC Holdings Plc say in a research note.
