The Idaho Governor signed a law concerning the Parental Choice Tax Credit. The law includes: 1) providing that an eligible student may be 5 to 18 year old at any time during the tax year; 2) providing that tutoring, as a qualified expense, must be for academic instruction; and 3) providing that qualified expenses include curricula provided by one or more vendors as long as the total curriculum provided to the eligible student and claimed for the credit encompasses no more than kindergarten through grade 12 academic instruction.
