Immigrant Aid Groups Seek Restraining Order on IRS Disclosures

Two Chicago groups that aid immigrants in filing their taxes are seeking a temporary restraining order to stop the IRS from disclosing tax information that could be used to facilitate deportations.

Centro de Trabajadores Unidos and Immigrant Solidarity DuPage, two not-for-profit groups that provide education and support to immigrant communities, filed a motion for a temporary restraining order Friday in the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
