India Court Rules Sales Tax Panel Advise Isn’t Binding: Lawyer

India’s Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that recommendations by Goods and Services Tax Council are not binding on the state and the federal government, said Abhishek Rastogi, a partner at law firm Khaitan & Co.
