Revision to Internal Revenue Manual 21.2.3 that would add that it can take up to 48 hours for transcript delivery to the e-Services Secure Object Repository (SOR) mailbox, released October 6. For all authorized representatives, mailing and the use of the SOR mailbox are the only delivery options when requesting TDS transcripts for their clients, the IRS noted. While the request could be received as soon as 45 minutes, it can take up to 48 hours, the IRS reminds examiners to inform the callers. [wi-21-1020-1066 (Oct. 2, 2020)]
