IRS Announces Disaster Tax Relief for Washington State

The Internal Revenue Service will provide tax relief and extend filing deadlines for individuals and businesses in Washington state affected by wildfires began on June 22, the agency announced Thursday.

The IRS is offering relief to any area designated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the agency said. Currently, this includes the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation in Washington state.
