IRS Data Leak Damages Suit Should Proceed, Says Ken Griffin

Hedge fund manager Ken Griffin has called on a Florida district court to allow his lawsuit to proceed against the IRS for allegedly failing to protect his confidential financial information, arguing that he made a plausible claim that tax records were leaked to the press.

Founder of Citadel, Griffin is seeking financial damages over an IRS data breach that lead to a ProPublica report focused on the wealthiest US taxpayers.
