The Internal Revenue Service is delaying more tax deadlines to July 15 for American taxpayers living abroad, trusts and estates, according to guidance issued today.
- “The extensions generally now apply to all taxpayers that have a filing or payment deadline falling on or after April 1, 2020, and before July 15, 2020,” according to a press release
- The IRS last month delayed the tax filing and payment deadline for many individuals and businesses to July 15, but the extension didn’t include several groups of taxpayers
