The Internal Revenue Service announced tax relief for individuals and businesses in the entire state of Tennessee affected by severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes, and flooding that began on April 2, the agency said Monday.
The relief postpones various tax filing and payment deadlines that occurred from April 2 through Nov. 3 for affected individuals and businesses in Tennessee’s 95 counties. The IRS is offering relief to any area designated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency as a result of the storms and flooding.
