Certain taxpayers affected by Hurricane Fiona in Puerto Rico now have until Feb. 15 to file some individual and business tax returns as well as make some tax payments, the IRS said Monday.
The tax relief covers individuals and households who reside or have a business in all 78 municipalities in Puerto Rico, according to the agency.
Quarterly estimated tax payments and quarterly payroll and excise tax returns, as well as 2021 return filings that had been received extensions until Oct. 17, all qualify for the new deadline, the IRS said.
