The IRS will not issue a copy of Notice 1444-B that taxpayers are receiving with the second Economic Impact Payment (EIP) if it was lost or never received, even though a payment was received, the IRS stated March 4 in updated FAQs. For taxpayers that don’t have their notices, they can view the amounts of the first and second EIPs through their online account, the IRS referenced.
