IRS announced September 5 that several forms will no longer be used. Form 2555-EZ, Foreign Earned Income Exclusion, and its instructions, are obsolete after the 2018 tax year. Form 2555 will continue to be used. Schedules 4, 5 and 6 to the Form 1040 are being merged with Schedules 2, 3, and Forms 1040 and 1040-SR, respectively. Form 1040 Schedule C will be used instead of Schedule C-EZ. Form 8965, Health Coverage Exemptions, and its instructions, along with Form 1099-H, Health Coverage Tax Credit (HCTC) Advance Payments, and its instructions, also being discontinued.
