IRS Form: Material Advisor Disclosure Statement Adds 2D Barcode Technology (IRC §6111)

Form 8918, Material Advisor Disclosure Statement, and accompanying instructions released with changes made to reflect use of 2D barcode technology for faster, more convenient submission channels and processing. Form 8918 has been redesigned with 2D Barcodes placed on Page 4, which will be submitted with the rest of the form, the IRS stated. Forms 8918 filed incorrectly will be rejected, the IRS noted.
