IRS Form: Railroad Track Maintenance Credit (IRC §45G)

Form 8900, Qualified Railroad Track Maintenance Credit, and instructions released February 6 with changes made to reflect the extension of the credit as part of the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2020 (Pub. L. No. 116-94). The credit is extended retroactively for qualified expenses paid or incurred in tax years beginning in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
