IRS Form: Updated Forms, Instructions to Health Coverage Information Reporting (IRC §6055)

Form 1094-B, Transmittal of Health Coverage Information Returns, and Form 1095-B, Health Coverage, along with instructions, released October 15 to reflect individual health reimbursement arrangements (HRAs) and extensions of time to file. For plan years beginning on or after January 1, 2020, employers may offer HRAs integrated with individual health insurance coverage or Medicare, subject to certain conditions, with code G being entered on the Form 1094-B to identify such coverage, the draft instructions note.
