The IRS has published a series of tips to help tax professionals know the signs of data theft and reminded them to immediately contact the IRS when an identity theft issue has been identified, according to a Tuesday news release.
This reminder is the third installment of the Protect Your Client; Protect Yourself campaign, according to the agency.
