The IRS issued a news release announcing that select Taxpayer Assistance Centers (TACs) will be open Saturday, June 27, for the final Saturday service event of the year. Participating TACs in multiple states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico will provide in-person assistance on a range of tax-related issues from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., although cash payments will not be accepted. The IRS also reported that more than 13,000 taxpayers have received assistance through the agency’s Saturday service initiative in 2026. [IR-2026-78, 06/22/26]
