Criminals are seeking to exploit the Coronavirus pandemic with a new text scam to trick taxpayers into disclosing bank account information under the guise of receiving their Economic Impact Payment, the IRS warned on behalf of itself and Security Summit partners, urging recipients to report such phishing messages.
