Comments are requested on the new draft Form 7217, Partner’s Report of Property Distributed by a Partnership, and its instructions, the IRS announced. This form is new for tax year 2024 applicable to distributions to partners made during tax year 2024 and will be used to report all distribution of property that a partner receives from a partnership.
