IRS Pub.: Fiscal Year 2021 Annual Report on Whistleblower Program (IRC §7623)

Fiteen years of the Whisteblower Office and Whistleblower Program have paid awards that has totaled more than $1.05 billion and has led to the successful collection of $6.39 billion from noncompliant taxpayers. the IRS reported in its Fiscal Year 2021 report June 10. The Whistleblower Office made 179 awards to whistleblowers totaling $36,144,926 (before sequestration), the report noted.
