IRS rules listing workers exempt from paying tax on the tips they earn are one step closer to being released.
The White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs completed its review Sept. 12 of proposed rules (RIN: 1545-BR63) that list the jobs typically receiving tips and thus qualifying them for the tax break from the 2025 GOP tax law.
