IRS Workers Complain About Lack of Hand Sanitizer, Gloves

IRS employees have complained that the agency isn’t providing access to hand sanitizer, gloves, and other types of protective equipment that would help them stave off the coronavirus, a union official said.

“You’ve got to remember that at the IRS you have a lot of people who are opening mail and handling tax documents and so that is a real concern for them,” National Treasury Employees Union President Tony Reardon said Thursday on a call with reporters.
