Italian tax police searched Amazon’s offices in Milan as well as the homes of seven Amazon managers and KPMG’s offices, Reuters reports, citing people familiar with the matter.

  • Searches relate to a new tax evasion investigation into Amazon
  • New strand of probe into whether Amazon had an undisclosed permanent base in Italy in 2019-2024 and should have paid more taxes
