Italy Working on Income and VAT Tax Reform: Corriere

Italy is planning to pass new fiscal reforms and a plan to reinforce investments in telecommunications and transportation infrastructure, Corriere della Sera daily reports on Monday, citing Finance Minister Roberto Gualtieri.

• Program may be approved in a cabinet meeting Monday or Tuesday, along with so-called simplification decree; would include overhaul of income tax and VAT aimed at relief to middle class, families
