Italy’s Top Court Orders New Look at Disaronno Transfer Pricing

Italy’s Supreme Court granted a reprieve to liqueur maker Disaronno Group in a transfer pricing dispute over the profit margin earned by its Dutch distributor and how marketing and advertising expenses were allocated.

The ruling, released May 22 and published on the court’s website over the weekend, sends the case back to the Lombardy second‑instance tax court for a better‑reasoned new review.
