Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry looks to extend corporate tax breaks aimed at encouraging employers to raise wages to 2030, Sankei reports without attribution.
- Tax breaks for hiking wages are set to expire when the current fiscal year ends in March
- Also seeks additional incentives for companies to support employees raising children
- Will include the measures when it submits its annual tax reform requests to the Finance Ministry at end-Aug.
