Joint Committee on Taxation Staffer Sees ‘Blue Book’ This Fall

Congress’s Joint Committee on Taxation is hoping for a fall issuance of its much-anticipated “blue book” on the Inflation Reduction Act and other major tax legislation from the 117th Congress, a JCT official said Tuesday.

“We’ve made significant progress,” said Jared Hermann, legislation counsel at the non-partisan JCT, speaking at a virtual conference of the US branch of the International Fiscal Association. The JCT is aiming to release the blue book in the fourth quarter, he said.
