Key Items of Turkey Tax Bill Should Be Reconsidered, Tusiad Says

Some items in the tax bill under discussion in parliament bring a burden on all sections of society while also contradicting the government’s economic targets, the Turkish Industry & Business Association, known as Tusiad, said in emailed statement.

• The planned “digital services tax” would have a negative impact on investments in digital services.
• Income tax tariffs should be redesigned in a fair manner.
• The planned “accommodation tax” and “valuable property tax” should be reconsidered.
