Koch-Backed Group Takes Donor Disclosure Case to Supreme Court

A conservative advocacy organization wants the Supreme Court to take up a lawsuit over California’s donor disclosure requirements.

The Americans for Prosperity Foundation is contesting a California policy that requires charitable organizations to provide the state with information they file each year with the Internal Revenue Service, including the names and addresses of their largest financial backers.
