Business Secretary Andrea Leadsom says U.K. will go-ahead with planned digital tax on online companies.

  • “We are going ahead with that digital tax,” Leadsom tells Sky News when asked if Britain will join France in shelving the plan under pressure from U.S.
  • “What’s absolutely vital is we work on a global solution, an international solution working with partners around the world because what we’re seeing at the moment is these huge companies making vast profits and simply not paying their fair share of taxes”
