Malaysia’s government is reviewing existing tax structure as part of reforms that may involve fresh levies,
- “Rest assured, we are very mindful of the impact and the timing,” she said in a panel discussion at a
World Bank event. “The government would wait until the economy has fully stabilized before any major change takes place.” - Malaysia is also reviewing existing tax breaks with a view to make them more targeted and strategic in nature, she said.
