The Maryland Governor signed a law creating several new alcoholic beverage licenses for Garrett County, including a “Deluxe Complex Restaurant” beer and wine license, a “Deluxe Complex Restaurant” beer, wine, and liquor license, “Resort Complex” beer, wine, and liquor licenses, and beer, wine, and liquor festival licenses. The law authorizes the county liquor board to issue these licenses, sets fees, and establishes operational requirements. The law takes effect July 1. [S.B. 826, enacted 05/20/25]
