McGahn Order to Testify to Congress Put on Temporary Hold

The Washington judge who ordered ex-White House Counsel Don McGahn to honor a congressional subpoena for his testimony on Wednesday put that directive on hold for consideration of a Trump administration request for a longer delay while the White House pursues a reversal on appeal.

U.S. District Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson had ruled Monday against the White House -- which sought to block the subpoena -- and in favor of the Democrat-led House Judiciary Committee.
