McGuireWoods Taps Ex-SEC Director Leung, Sidley’s Lopez in LA

Gary Leung and Jodi Lopez joined McGuireWoods as partners in its securities enforcement and regulatory counseling practice in Los Angeles, the firm announced Wednesday.

Leung served as director of the SEC’s Los Angeles Regional Office and led a staff of more than 70 investigative attorneys, trial attorneys and enforcement accountants responsible for investigating federal securities law violations. He supervised an enforcement docket of over 100 investigations and 80 litigated SEC enforcement actions, the firm said.
