Mexico Sees Surge in Transfer Pricing Revenue in Past Five Years

Mexican tax authorities reported a major spike in tax revenue from applying transfer pricing rules and procedures to large multinationals, the government said Monday.

Between 2019 and 2024, the Tax Administration Service collected roughly 106.2 billion pesos ($5.5 billion) through the application of transfer pricing procedures to large taxpayers, the agency reported in a release—a 367% increase over the nearly 29 billion pesos collected in the 2013-2018 period.

Transfer pricing refers to the way groups value intercompany transactions.
