Michigan Treasury Announces Prepaid Sales Tax Rates on Fuel for October

The Michigan Department of Treasury issued a revenue administrative bulletin announcing the prepaid sales tax rates on fuel for October 2025. Effective Oct. 1 through Oct. 31, the prepaid sales tax rate for gasoline will be 16.5 cents per gallon, and the rate for diesel fuel will be 19.4 cents per gallon. [Mich.
