Mississippi DOR Raises NSM Fee Rate for Cigarettes

The Mississippi Department of Revenue (DOR) published a notice announcing an increase in the non-settling manufacturer (NSM) fee rate for cigarettes. The notice states that the NSM fee rate will increase from 2.20 cents to 2.27 cents per cigarette, resulting in an increase of $0.14 per carton, effective for returns filed for the July 2026 filing period and forward.
