Mississippi Extends Richland’s 2 Percent Sales Tax on Bars, Restaurants

The Mississippi Governor signed a law extending the City of Richland’s authority to impose a tax of up to 2 percent on the gross sales of bars and restaurants for funding tourism, parks, and recreation within the city.
