The Montana Governor signed a law concerning property tax rates. The law includes requiring the Legislative Revenue Interim Committee to make a recommendation to the next legislature about whether to change property tax rates for class three agricultural land, class four residential and commercial land, and class ten forest land property based upon the Department of Revenue’s required reappraisal conducted every two years.
