Sports betting operators in New Jersey collected $668 million in August, shattering a record previously held by Nevada, according to PlayNJ.
The highest grossing month for any legal jurisdiction in U.S. history helped the Garden State bring in $13.2 million in state and local taxes, PlayNJ found. PlayNJ is a division of PlayUSA which conducts sports betting related market research and analysis.
